A short 30-minute webinar that introduces the concept of why monitoring is important, anaesthetic risk and what main parameters we should be monitoring in an anaesthetised patient.

The learning objectives of this webinar are:

  • Discuss why monitoring is important
  • Outline when monitoring patients should start and end
  • Discuss the risk associated with anaesthesia in dogs and cats
  • List the three main aims of anaesthesia
  • List and discuss monitoring of the different organ systems (central nervous system, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, temperature and other)
