Avoiding perioperative hypothermia in cats and dogs

Please note: Jurox joined the Zoetis family in early 2023. This webinar was recorded prior to this, so still retains Jurox branding.

Hypothermia is one of the most common complications during general anaesthesia of small animals, with potential deleterious effect on many body systems. In order to avoid these adverse effect, action must be taken right from the start of anaesthesia, in order to prevent development of hypothermia. This webinar will help you to prevent hypothermia from occurring in your patients through an explanation of risk factors for hypothermia, and discussion of methods for reducing heat loss in cats and dogs.
